Winter beauty

As I enjoy another (#3!!) cup of coffee, I could sit and stare out the window all day… shiny black birds rest on snowy white branches against the intensely blue blue sky and where the snow has melted there are flecks of green popping up. Nearly mesmerized at the still beauty, I realize it’s the color scheme for an upcoming wedding! It’s true, we’ll use other design elements but the value will be nature inspired with all the stunning beauty of this wintery wonderland. Mother Nature’s gifts remind me to slow down and just “breathe”…wishing you all enough quiet in the days ahead to just “breathe” and enjoy the simple moments. Happy remains of winter! (Spring is in 27 days!!)

First snow falls

Summer couldn’t possibly go on forever… although I was lost in that fantasy. The warm weather lingered and stalled and was thoroughly enjoyed for a good long spell. The lavender and rosemary has survived the chill but it’s time to harvest the stragglers in the herb gardens. We are drying herbs around the clock and have plenty to share with the kitchens in the area. I would love to design a full herbal bouquet for a beautiful hippie bride.
